Job descriptionIndependently cover the emergency department with access to an on-call emergency physician Manage the core emergency department, including patient evaluation and treatment Assist with placement of inpatient orders and management of admissions Provide procedural care as required Utilize trauma experience if applicable (preferred, not required) Must have a valid New York nurse practitioner license Procedural experience is required Trauma experience is preferred but not required Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Avoid the hassle of permanent relocation by taking on temporary assignments in various locations, experiencing different communities without long-term commitment. About The Position
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in New York. The nurse practitioner will independently cover the emergency department with support from an on-call emergency physician, playing a vital role in patient management and admissions.
