Certified Payroll Manager

A company is looking for a Payroll Manager to lead their Payroll function in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the full payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple jurisdictions

Evaluate and improve payroll processes and automation while maintaining internal controls

Manage payroll-related compliance, including state and local tax filings and annual 401k audits

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience in Payroll operations with HRIS systems

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) required

Expertise in multi-state tax regulations and payroll compliance

Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing staff
