The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers information technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Role Purpose

This role is part of the vendor management team. The specific role is to be accountable for a portfolio of IT contracts, manage vendors and work with internal stakeholders to source, negotiate and provide governance for information technology related goods and services. This includes sourcing, governance, renewals and cost management for each sourcing opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a subject matter expert in IT Vendor Management.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendor partners in the Services space.
• Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, both within and external to IS products / services, ensuring quality standards and needed specifications are established.
• Drive overall governance of vendor process to include onboarding, vendor reviews, ongoing performance management.
• Build and manage dashboards / reports as needed to report out on vendor performance and contract status.
• Developing financial analysis and governance models aligned with direction of IT.
• Conduct cost analysis and provide advice on service lines on options, protecting Corning and Corning IT's best interests.
• Assist in developing SOWs that are compliant with Corning requirements and are operationally and commercially advantageous to the D& IT (Digital & IT) Organization.
• Lead and / or participate in the negotiation of new contracts, RFIs, RFPS and or changes to existing contracts as needed.
• Partner with Legal, Information Security, Data Privacy, Sourcing, Finance, Accounts Payable and other internal teams to execute contracts and / or changes in a timely manner.
• Provide coaching and assistance to teammates.

The range for this position is $97,978.00 - $134,720.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
