About The Position

Job Title : Ultrasound Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : General Ultrasound

Duration : 12 Weeks

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience :

Minimum 2 years of recent specialty experience required.

Must have a full year of in-specialty experience within the past 12 months.

No gap in employment greater than 90 days in the past year.

License :

Candidates must hold an active license valid for the required states.

Certifications :

ARRT certification for Radiologic Technology is preferred but not required.

Must-Have :

Experience with Siemens S2000, Philips EPIQ, Vasculab, and Siemens Sequoia is required.

Candidate must be self-driven and competent in performing general ultrasound exams independently.

Willingness to float between departments, units, and facilities is necessary.

Description :

The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a variety of ultrasound examinations.

The technologist will be the only staff member onsite during night shifts.

Daily tasks include operating ultrasound equipment, ensuring quality images, and assisting with patient care.

Interdisciplinary support will be available from respiratory services and rapid response teams.

Candidates should be adaptable and prepared to handle various patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics.

Drug screening is required, and candidates must pass the screening to maintain assignment eligibility.
