About the Organization
Formed in 1, the VAUMF is a foundation dedicated to providing stewardship education and managing assets for the Virginia United Methodist Annual Conference. Served by a Board of Directors, the foundation is committed to supporting projects, ministries, and initiatives throughout the Conference. After six years of significant growth, its trajectory for continued success is in place with an annual budget of $1M and a full-time staff of six.
About the Ministry
The key to this position will be building relationships with both established stakeholders as well as new prospective donors. Serving as the primary storyteller of the Foundation, this position will be highly mobile within the community creating strategic partnerships. Utilizing the backdrop of the theology of stewardship, this position will be a connection between the local congregation and the Foundation.
The Ideal Candidate
An ideal candidate for this position is a strategic leader with a proven track record in fundraising, fostering innovation, and managing large-scale development projects. They should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate across teams, and a deep understanding of the non-profit sector.
