Sales Engineer Machine Tool Solutions
We are seeking a seasoned and driven Sales Engineer with a strong background in precision machining and advanced manufacturing solutions. This individual will be responsible for developing new business while strengthening relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction, and driving growth across a defined territory. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with business acumen and thrives in consultative, solution-based sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting both new and existing customers within the precision machining and manufacturing industry.
- Partner with machine tool builders and internal technical teams to deliver tailored solutions that address customer needs.
- Build compelling business cases to support sales opportunities and communicate ROI to key decision-makers.
- Create and deliver high-impact presentations, proposals, and demonstrations that showcase the value proposition of advanced machine tool solutions.
- Manage technical requirements in response to RFPs and RFIs, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Provide clear feedback from customers to influence product improvements and future technology development.
- Gather, analyze, and share competitive intelligence to strengthen market positioning.
Requirements
Proven success as a Sales Engineer or in a technical sales role within the machine tool or advanced manufacturing industry.Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and sell high-value technology solutions.Strong technical background in precision machining, automation, or manufacturing processes.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive-level audiences.Track record of building long-term, trusted relationships with senior executives and engineering teams.Excellent problem-solving, creativity, and negotiation skills.Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as required.CMTSE certification or equivalent is a plus.Please submit a resume for consideration.
