Electrical Control Engineer needs 10+ years direct experience in industrial automation.

Electrical Control Engineer requires :

oBlueprint, Schematics, Programming, Siemens Control Language, Ladder Logic, MS Visual Basic, C++, Java, Python, MS SQL, PLC, HMI, VFD, Electrical testing equipment, P&ID schematics

oCertification in programming preferred, such as Siemens or Allen Bradley certified programmer.

oState issued electrical trades license preferred.

oProficient in AutoCAD Electrical (Preferred)

oAbility to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and / or permutations.

oAbility to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

oAbility to code advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and / or permutations.

oRead, analyze, and interpret blueprints, mechanical and electrical schematics, and machine drawings.

oRead, analyze, and interpret programming code documented in languages other than English.

oRead, analyze, and interpret common scientific / technical journals, regulatory documentation, and legal documents.

oUnderstands SOPs

Electrical Control Engineer duties

oProvide technical and engineering support for automated industrial machinery and industrial electronic controls.

oUpgrade and retrofit controls that are obsolete with no direct replacements available. This requires making all necessary modifications to existing equipment.

oTrain technicians and apprentices the proper methods and procedures for process instrumentation calibration.

oTrain technicians and apprentices how to read and understand programming code and logic.

oTrain technicians and apprentices the best practices and methods of troubleshooting components of electrical controls systems.

oTrain technicians and apprentices about fluid power systems, and how to troubleshoot and repair these systems.

oRead, create, and modify electrical schematics according to IEC and NFPA standards.

oRead, create, and modify fluid power (hydraulics and pneumatics) schematics according to IEC and NFPA standards.

oRead, create, and modify P&ID schematics according to IEC and NFPA standards.

oRead, create, and modify programming code in the following languages : Siemens Structured Control Language (SCL), Siemens Statement List, Siemens Graph 7, Siemens Function Block Diagram (FBD), Ladder Logic (Siemens, Allen Bradley and others), Allen Bradley Structured Text, Microsoft Visual Basic, C++, C#, Java, Python, Microsoft SQL, and others.

oRead, create, and modify database tables in MSSQL server.

oRead, create, and modify HMI programs for Siemens, Allen Bradley, and other HMIs, this includes using WinCC Flex and Panel Builder 32.

oRead, create, and modify SCADA programs for Siemens WinCC, and Inductive Automation.

oInstall, commission, repair and troubleshoot any brand of PLC, HMI or VFD.
