Job description
  • Description : * The Team Lead role is a supervisory level role responsible for the day-to-day functions of a team assigned to a client site or project. The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the effective use of methodology, performing quality assurance, creating documentation, adherence to applicable service level agreements, day-to-day resolution of client issues, team direction and support, and escalation of issues as necessary. This role oversees day-to-day function of the team including overall morale, providing input on performance reviews and plans, and assisting with documentation for disciplinary or termination purposes. Duties and Responsibilities : - Supervises the day-to-day activities within a team. - Instructs, directs, and checks the work of other team members. Monitors quality of work being performed and deliverables, monitors completion of tasks / objectives within service levels or other expected timelines. - Monitors team morale and influences team morale positively; escalates morale issues to manager. - Performs trend and root cause analysis with regular recommendations for continuous improvements. - Provides feedback, input on performance reviews and plans, and assists with documentation for disciplinary or termination purposes. Escalates retention issues to manager. - Reviews and compiles status reports for managers. - Coordinates timesheet submission and approval process for assigned consultants. - Assists managers with coordinating the resource allocation process for the project / assignment. - Supports OE, ITIL and project methodology compliance. - Mentors team on use of methodology and SOPs. - Participates in and may run portions of client meetings. - Supports the capture of intellectual property. - Maintains accurate and current documentation and maintains documentation as necessary. - Maintains confidentiality of company and employee information - Participates in interviews of potential candidates for roles within the team. - Maintains awareness of industry trends and technology changes. - Learns new technologies and obtains certifications to enhance technical and professional expertise. - Performs related business duties as required. *Skills : * microsoft office, azure, windows, ticketing system, itil, sla, Itil 4, microsoft certified professional, HDI Certified Lead, PMP *Top Skills Details : * microsoft office,azure,windows,ticketing system,itil,sla *Additional Skills & Qualifications : * Requirements : - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field highly preferred. - Minimum 4 years’ experience in information technology, computer services or a related industry required. - Previous Team Lead / supervisory experience strongly preferred. - Previous experience managing team performance against service level agreements required. - Strong organization skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously required. - Desire to stay abreast of critical industry trends. Preferred Certifications : Technical : ▪ Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) with current certifications ▪ Other IT related certifications Professional : ▪ HDI Support Center Analyst and / or Desktop Support Technician ▪ HDI Certified Team Lead ▪ Project Management ▪ ITIL Foundations *Experience Level : * Intermediate Level About TEKsystems : We're partners in transformation.
