Staff Accountant
Responsibilities :
- Post and balance cash postings.
- Mail invoice copies, statements, and credit references to dealers / customers.
- Release parts and trucks from credit hold.
- Maintain insurance certificates.
- Contact customers to update all master data information.
- Validate existing sales exemption certificates with customers and request renewals.
- Release customer statements and reminders.
- Collect and monitor valid sales exemption certificates.
- Process manual journal entries.
- Conduct General Ledger account reconciliation.
- Reconcile between sub-ledgers and different tools within Finance.
- Process accounts payable invoices through procurement matching and expense vouchering.
- Review and resolve GR account overdue weekly.
- Maintain and resolve Accounts Payable aging weekly.
- Work closely with internal and external contacts to resolve discrepancies.
- Request regular vendor statements.
- Handle other assignments and projects as needed.
Essential Skills :
Proficiency in general ledger operations.Experience in invoicing.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.Expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable.Ability to perform journal entries and reconciliation.Data entry proficiency.Vendor management capabilities.Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Minimum of three years of experience in general accounting.Basic computer skills with SAP experience being a plus.High math aptitude and ability to work accurately with numbers.Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and / or bookkeeping procedures.Good interpersonal and organizational skills.Associate's degree in finance or accounting (preferred).Work Environment :
This is a fully on-site position from Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.
Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 / hr.
