Are you a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic, and challenging environment? We are seeking a motivated and experienced BCBA to join our healthcare team and make a significant difference in the lives of individuals with Autism and significant behaviors. This exciting opportunity will see you working in our district's center-based program, partnering with classroom teachers to provide support and create impactful, positive change.
Responsibilities :
As a Consulting BCBA, your primary responsibilities will include :
1. Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students with Autism and significant behaviors.
2. Conducting functional behavior assessments and utilizing assessment data to inform intervention strategies.
3. Providing ongoing training and consultation to teachers and staff on behavior management strategies and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
4. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and making necessary modifications to ensure student progress.
5. Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and review.
6. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, interventions implemented, and outcomes achieved.
7. Adhering to ethical guidelines and professional standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Qualifications :
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications :
1. Hold a valid BCBA license in Colorado.
2. Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a BCBA, preferably in a healthcare or educational setting.
3. Demonstrated experience working with individuals with Autism and implementing behavior intervention plans.
4. Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques, and experience applying these in a practical setting.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions based on data.
7. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of current research and best practices in the field of behavior analysis.
