Your mission is ours. Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Early Career Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). In this role, you will support the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program (FBM) in the Space and Missile Defense (SMD) line of business. The HRBP will provide leadership and collaborate to provide cohesive support to facility, including coaching, guidance and counsel in the areas of : labor and employee relations, workforce planning, organizational design, labor cost management, positive employee relations, talent management and leadership development, promotion planning, compensation, benefits, investigations and disciplines, employee engagement and performance management, HR metrics and analytics.

The successful candidate will have experience and / or knowledge in broad HR functional skills, for example, (Staffing, Employee Relations, Compensation, Labor Relations or other). As a trusted human capital advisor, the HRBP must build strong relationships and partner with clients and leadership, anticipating needs to proactively identify areas for collaboration and integration inside and outside the HR organization. The HRBP must consistently engage with key stakeholders in business and HR organizations locally and remain connected with FBM and greater HR and Labor Relations teams at other LM locations. Some travel and willingness to work extended hours on occasion is required. This position is located at a facility that requires special access; must be a U.S. Citizen. Must obtain an interim DOD Secret security clearance prior to start with ability to obtain and maintain Final Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business or a related field
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• Ability to clearly articulate strong career interest in the field of Human Resources
• Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Ability to Work Remotely : Onsite Full-time : The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position : 9x80 every other Friday off.

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees : accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
