Job descriptionDetermines the learning needs of staff in using a variety of methods in order to maintain or improve their competency Conducts formal and informal competency assessments with staff and nursing leadership. Utilizes data collected by PI, Nursing Leadership, Nursing Standards, staff, and nursing leadership to develop educational offerings Collaborates with members of the nursing leadership team to determine unit-specific educational needs In conjunction with the Nursing Leadership Team, assists in the growth and development of staff Assesses the learning needs of the orientees and plans a comprehensive orientation Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
