DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will deliver expert maintenance support for both on-site and off-site facilities at the Farm Show Complex.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure safe and efficient operations throughout the year, as well as to carry out routine maintenance tasks required for the facility.

You will execute skilled maintenance activities under the guidance of professionals such as electricians, carpenters, plumbers, masons, utility plant operators, welders, and HVAC mechanics.

Your duties will encompass the installation of electrical and plumbing fixtures; working with concrete; assisting in roof repairs;

maintaining gutters and downspouts; as well as the repair or fabrication of floor drains as necessary. Additionally, you will engage in welding and brazing of metals using arc and acetylene techniques.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 12 : 00 AM to 8 : 30 PM, Thursday - Monday, with a30-minute lunch.
• Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements :

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or
• Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirement :

This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Additional Requirements :

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
