We’re partnering with a well‑funded, fast‑growing AI infrastructure company operating at the intersection of compute, distributed systems, and system‑level software. They are looking for a Head of Business Development US to lead market expansion, build strategic relationships with AI‑native startups, and drive revenue growth for their next‑generation AI compute platform.
Founded by industry veterans (ex‑Apple, Nvidia, Intel, Tesla…), the company is headquartered in San Francisco, with engineering teams distributed across Paris (France) and Bangalore (India).

Responsibilities
New Business Development (core priority)
- Identify, engage, and win AI‑first startups (Seed → Series C) and high‑growth SMBs.
- Build founder‑level relationships across the US AI ecosystem (CTO, CEO, Head of AI).
- Drive fast, high‑impact deal cycles in a rapidly evolving market.
- Execute a direct sales (RTM2)‑driven go‑to‑market plan in the US.
- Attend AI events, conferences, hackathons, and demo days to build pipeline.
- Act as an ambassador for the brand across the Bay Area and beyond.
- Map the competitive landscape (GPU cloud providers, AI compute players).
- Identify new revenue streams and inform product / leadership teams with field insights.
- Spot emerging use cases and early trends in the AI startup ecosystem.
Technical Engagement
Understand AI training & inference workflows, GPU infrastructure, and cloud compute models.Lead high‑level technical conversations with founders and engineering leaders.Collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to align on customer needs.Future Scaling (after ~18 months)
While your initial focus is 100 % individual contribution, you may later help hire AEs, SEs, and partner‑facing roles as the US team grows.Requirements
5–10+ years in Business Development or Sales in AI infrastructure, GPU compute, cloud, or MLOps.Proven experience selling to AI startups (a non‑negotiable requirement).A hunter mindset : pipeline creation, outbound, in‑person networking, ecosystem presence.Strong technical fluency in AI workloads (training / inference), cloud compute, GPUs.Autonomous and entrepreneurial : you thrive in early‑stage, high‑impact environments.Strong US network among AI founders, labs, VCs, incubators, and technical leaders.Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to navigate fast, founder‑led deal cycles.Bonus : Experience with GPU cloud providers (Coreweave, Lambda, Crusoe, RunPod, Together AI, etc.) or selling infra to AI / ML teams.Contract Type
