Summary / TWC Summary The Department of Chemistry is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to teach as Adjunct Faculty.

Under the direction of the Department Chair, the Adjunct Faculty will be responsible for conduction lectures, supervising laboratory work, grading assignments and examinations, and providing support to students in the classroom setting.

Essential Duties Summary

Summary

  • Prepare and deliver lectures on assigned topics.
  • Grade student assignments, examinations, and respond to student emails and issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct student evaluations and provide feedback to students.
  • Develop course materials and syllabi in accordance with college guidelines.
  • Attend and complete required trainings.
  • Be responsive in a timely manner to Department, College and University communications, as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism. They must adhere to university and college policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality of student information, and be committed to providing a positive learning environment for all students.
  • Be familiar with technology and comfortable using it in the classroom. They must be able to use learning management systems, online communication tools, and other technology to support student learning.
