Summary

The New Patient Liaison is responsible for completing tasks and coordinating processes related to new patient inquiries and referrals from multiple sources for the practice.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of Customer Relationship Management system - including but not limited to :
  • Manage lead communication from initial inquiry to scheduling appointments
  • Scheduling physician initial intake calls with prospective patients
  • Schedule new patient appointments in EMR
  • Ensure smooth transition for when another team member is covering.
  • Ensure accurate data reporting.
  • Identify work flow issues and solutions.
  • Manage patient feedback / outcome system - including but not limited to :
  • Follow up with patients whose score decreased - offering appointments.
  • Partner with a clinical team member when appropriate - in speaking with patients whose score decreased and have clinical questions.
  • Look at ways to increase patient participation / response in feedback / outcome platform.
  • Track and perform patient check-ins for those patients that are not following their MD recommended treatment plan.
  • Track and manage all no-show patients throughout NYKI.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous medical office experience required

  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to learn and work within Microsoft Office, Go High Level, OutcomeMD as well as other required software tools and applications.
  • Ability to learn and work with enterprise VoIP phone system.
  • Ability to learn and work within enterprise EMR
  • Ability to work with individuals and groups from diverse populations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to enter data efficiently, timely and correctly in order to meet deadlines
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to effectively manage time to meet deadlines
  • Maintain and support the mission and goals of the organization
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
