Your Role With Us : As the Cardiac Sonographer at Salem Health, you work collaboratively with health care providers to provide direct and indirect care to patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Services Department and throughout the hospital.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performance of transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms.

In this position you must have a professional attitude and appearance, excellent customer service and communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelors degree preferred.Graduate from an accredited school of noninvasive cardiovascular technology / ultrasound OR three years recent experience and at least 800 echocardiograms performed OR a student may begin working with a temporary State of Oregon Sonography license as early as five (5) months prior to the projected date for completion of coursework.

Recent experience as a cardiac sonographer in a hospital based, cardiac non-invasive services department preferred.BLS certification from the AHA required.

RDCS or RCS certification or eligible for RDCS or RCS certification and completion within six months of hire.Oregon Practice of Sonography license (OBMI) required.
