Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced in advanced CT procedures and IV contrast administration for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a short-term acute care hospital in a CT department handling ER, in-patient, and out-patient cases
  • Shift is 4x10 hour day shifts from 9 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM with weekend and on-call requirements
  • Perform CT exams including abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and CTAs with multiplanar reconstruction
  • Preferred experience in aspirations / biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, and myelography
  • Siemens equipment experience preferred
  • Utilizes FUJI PACS and Cerner EMR; related experience preferred
  • Royal blue scrubs required
  • First-time travelers are accepted
  • Allied travelers, including CT Techs, may be considered as locals
  • Travelers must work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays during the contract
  • Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
  • Free parking available on site
  • Returning employees must have a 12-month separation before applying as travelers
  • Pre-start online modules must be completed
  • Must provide SSN and DOB for compliance

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent CT tech experience, including in a community hospital setting
  • Experience with IV starts and contrast administration required
  • BLS, ARRT, and ARRT Advanced Certification required
  • Active IN state radiology license required prior to start (pending not accepted); license required if applicable
  • Must provide two supervisor references for consideration
  • Cerner EMR and FUJI PACS experience preferred
  • Must have graduated from an ACEN or CCNE accredited university
