Successful candidates must possess previous experience in a project management capacity. Project experience required would be commercial and industrial projects ranging from $1M to $25M+.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the leading engineering firms, where you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our mechanical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of mechanical engineering projects, including planning, organizing, and executing projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks, including identifying potential issues and proactively proposing efficient solutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Review and approve submittals and ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Lead project meetings and set and manage client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the mechanical construction industry.
  • Proven working experience in project management, including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Extensive experience with submittals and a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Leadership qualities.
