Outpatient Therapist - Behavioral Health

Responsibilities Valley Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic Outpatient Therapist to work in a Group therapy setting. The Licensed Outpatient Program Therapist performs social services and psychotherapy functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while providing assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy treatment of individuals, couples, families, and groups to assist patient’s in achieving their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, psycho-education, complete specialized clinical psychotherapy services for patients / families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.

A minimum of three years’ experience in a healthcare setting or managed care company with experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, utilization management, and / or case management LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LIASC, LMFT, Associate or Independent licensure required.
