Full Job Description

The Quality Engineer will provide expertise in executing the QMS to support the integration of a new acquisition. Responsibilities include executing QMS activities, reviewing artifacts, and driving process and product changes through the change control process.

• Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection to ensure product quality and functionality.
• Designs and installs sophisticated testing equipment, performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels, and minimize defects and failure rates.
• Analyzes reports and defective products to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborates with supplier representatives on quality issues, ensures effective corrective actions, and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs.
• Works closely with cross-functional teams including regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and R&D to support integration projects.
• Drives the design control process, ensuring compliance with existing and new processes.
• Collaborates on reviews with requirements, V&V, CSV, and design documents.
• Leads safety risk assessments (sFMEA / Risk Plans).
• Supports release management and DevSecOps processes to ensure compliance.
• Creates or reviews SOPs, work instructions, and forms.
