RN Med Surg - Registered Nurse Per Diem PRN - $51.97 per hour

• Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to patients admitted to the Medical-Surgical unit\n
• Perform initial patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans\n
• Implement, evaluate, and adjust patient care plans according to the established protocols and guidelines of the hospital\n
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes\n
• Monitor patient health status and vital signs and report any changes to the medical team\n
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians\n
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care\n
• Adhere to infection control protocols, maintaining a safe and sterile environment\n
• Document patient information, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner\n
• Adhere to established policies and procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality and professional conduct\n
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in a patient's condition\n

• Minimum of 9 months Med Surg experience in the last 2 years (preffered)\n
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in this state or a compact state license\n
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification\n
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical-thinking skills\n
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment\n
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on facility needs\n

• Current and valid RN license\n
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and / or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification\n
