This is a fantastic and unique opportunity with a stealth code security startup founded by former Microsoft and Tesla engineers, now seeking a Vice President of Marketing. The founding team uncovered a major gap in the code security space, as there was no solution to safely validate pre-built code before release, so they built a first-of-its-kind platform to address it.
Despite operating in stealth, the company already has four Fortune 500 customers and strong inbound demand. With funding approaching and plans to emerge publicly, the team is looking for a marketing leader who can define the narrative, shape the go-to-market strategy, and set the foundation for long-term growth.
About the Role
As VP of Marketing, you will take ownership of marketing end-to-end : messaging, positioning, product marketing, demand generation, GTM, and execution. This is an opportunity to join at true early stage where you will have complete autonomy to build the marketing function and establish a brand in a category with no direct competitors.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with a highly technical founding team and subject matter experts to distill a complex enterprise product into clear, compelling, differentiated messaging.
Responsibilities
Build and lead the full marketing strategy, covering narrative, positioning, product marketing, and demand generation.
Translate a highly technical, developer-led product into simple, powerful messaging.
Create and execute the GTM motion as the company transitions out of stealth.
Move quickly and deliver results, this role requires a high-execution mindset.
Partner directly with the founders to shape the company's external story.
Hire and scale the marketing function as needed.
Drive early brand awareness, pipeline generation, and market traction.
Requirements
Previous marketing cybersecurity background (non-negotiable).
Early-stage experience, ideally 0–10M ARR, and comfort building from scratch.
Full-stack marketing capabilities across brand, PMM, demand gen, content, and operations.
Ability to simplify complex enterprise concepts into direct, clear messaging.
Confident communicator who moves fast, speaks up, and executes with intent.
Experience marketing to developers and / or technical enterprise audiences.
