Your expertise is needed, and we’d love to have you on our team. We’re looking for an interim Infection Control RN to serve as a clinical expert in a skilled nursing facility in Auburn, Washington. As a travel RN with LeaderStat, you’ll get the opportunity to meet healthcare professionals from all over the nation, sharpen your clinical skillset, and lead an interdisciplinary team, all while providing top-of-the-line care to residents. When you join the LeaderStat team, you’ll be connected with a dedicated specialist before and during your assignment. They will work with you to coordinate onboarding, book and pay for travel arrangements, and assist with any questions along the way. Job Duties Establishing infection control standards and procedures Educating staff on how to prevent and control infections Inform state and county organizations of any reportable infections and/or disease outbreak Ensure quality care for all residents Job Requirements/Qualifications At least two years of clinical experience as an RN in a long-term care setting Two years of recent infection control experience Must be a certified Infection Control Specialist, including successful completion of the CIC exam Active RN license in the state assigned, or in an eligible Nurse Compact State Possess empathy and passion for serving others Serve as a leader and a trusted resource to other healthcare team members Up-to-date certifications/compliance Basic Life Support (BLS) via the American Heart Association Two-step TB test Physical exam within the last 12 months Benefits Weekly
