My client is at the forefront of innovative solutions in battery recycling to address the growing demand for disposal and repurposing of battery materials.
They've built the world’s first technology to re-manufacture used battery materials at the commercial scale.
The company is shifting from R&D phase to operational execution phase building a domestic & circular supply chain for critical minerals in North America and beyond, allowing manufacturers to add on-site battery recycling capabilities.
Their installations are fully capable of producing materials that meet the specifications battery cell producers require.
Background :
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
- Proven experience in a plant, ideally in an industrial plant setting for 5-7+ years
- Experience in pharmaceutical, make-up, and / or chemicals industry
- Knowledge and experience working with engineering tools / software such as AutoCAD, automation, Siemens and Allen Bradley
Additional Experience :
- We’re looking for someone who can take charge in terms of owning the process side of the chemical plant Integration on the R&D, commissioning, during start up and operation intake
- This person will work with the engineering team / operations to develop and apply new technologies for enhancing their battery recycling processes
- Responsibilities will include monitoring and reviewing what reactions they are creating, identifying chemicals that can get the job done efficiently, and reviewing the company’s existing systems for what they’ll be able to improve on.
Travel Expectations :
- 10% travel within the first year or 2 to Singapore and Australia (R&D in Australia and Engineering in Singapore)
- 2nd year around 10-15% as the business grows
