Description :

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.

Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may possibly result in a cancellation.

This is an overflow unit.

The unit is designed to decompress the Emergency Department.

Patients are for general surgery and medical telemetry.

Patients may require either medical intervention or surgical procedures.

Daily census is approximately 18 patients with a target ratio of 1 : 6-7.

The hospital will accept contracts lasting 13 to 16 weeks.

The shift schedule is for 3 x 12-hour nights.

Candidates must float as needed to similar units.

Every other weekend is required.

This transitional unit manages patients waiting for discharge decisions.

Orders and care are initiated while patients are observed.

Interdisciplinary support is available, including IV teams and respiratory services.

The unit utilizes specific systems and various medical equipment.

Travelers must be comfortable floating without restrictions or special requests.

Pending references at the time of submission are acceptable.

Two manager or supervisor references from the past 12 months are preferred.

Candidates must work two out of three major holidays.

No RTO is allowed during the first week of a traveler's assignment.

Candidates must complete all required testing within 48 hours after signing.

Working both travel Per Diem roles and travel contracts simultaneously is not permitted.

Candidates must have a valid RN license by the start date.

Participation in ongoing training and modules is required.

Travel pairs are allowed but must work in different units.

Candidates must indicate openness to different locations and shifts in their submission.

Fatigue policies prohibit travelers from working more than 5 consecutive days and / or more than 60 hours per week.
