Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead financial operations within a dynamic real estate and land development environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across diverse land-based assets and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial systems, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for supporting long-term value creation through responsible land stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and compliance
• Ensure full compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning aligned with development goals
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Conduct financial and variance analysis to support strategic land use decisions
• Coordinate annual audits and manage relationships with external auditors
• Monitor cash flow and optimize working capital across real estate and development projects
• Design and maintain robust internal control systems
• Supervise and mentor finance team members to foster growth and accountability
• Support investment accounting and portfolio management activities
• Leverage ERP systems to streamline financial processes and reporting
• Collaborate with land planning, development, and asset management teams to align financial systems with operational needs
