Summary :

We are seeking an exceptional biopharma PMO leader with experience in driving strategic alignment of business objectives across all functions and managing a complex portfolio of projects spanning R&D.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President, Global Program Management will be a key player in building our corporate strategy.

They will oversee the portfolio of the company's strategic projects, including enabling the successful execution of development programs, driving cross-functional project and scaling activities in R&D, Operations, and G&A with the goal to identify and solve "gaps".

This leader will ensure a smooth flow of information across the organization that provides executive management with a "dashboard" to drive the company.

In addition, they will take the lead to identify, define and implement scalable corporate processes that will underpin the success of Z-Alpha’s global growth objectives.

Critical to this effort will be to find the "sweet spot" that creates greater results and avoids excessive administration and process burnout.

This leader will be responsible for evolving our R&D PMO capabilities into a global PMO by building foundational project management and business optimization into our scaling organization.

The PMO function will be responsible for developing an approach for operational excellence and continuous improvement including our PMO methodologies, processes, tools and governance required to operate and execute programs and projects successfully in a global environment.

In addition, this role will be responsible for all PMO-related functions, including actively working with management at all levels to facilitate effective cross-organizational planning, execution and communications.

This leader will be required to build relationships across the organization to ensure company-wide engagement and focus on operational excellence.

Due to the dynamic of a start-up company, some job responsibilities and duties could change to meet company objectives and strategies.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 15+ years' experience in a complex global organization, with a minimum of 8 years directing, leading, or managing large, cross-functional programs within the biopharma industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a PMO leadership role(s) at the Exec / Sr. Director level
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science or a related discipline required, and a Master's degree in Business Administration or related discipline is preferred
  • Experience in a high-growth environment is required.
  • Experience in biotech or pharma is essential, ideally from early- to late-stage development and through commercialization.
  • Professional with proven track record of delivering on-time, on-budget and achieving results.
