Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic invasive electrophysiology procedures alongside physicians and nursing staff.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of radiographic imaging principles and cardiac mapping techniques during procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with sterile techniques.
  • Collect and progress data for performance improvement initiatives.
  • Support the department's operational efficiency by taking on additional tasks as needed.

    • Qualifications

  • Graduate from a Cardiovascular Technology or Radiographic Technology program, or equivalent combination of education and 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Current BLS certification required upon hire.
  • ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
  • RCES certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a cardiovascular environment with skills in arrhythmia interpretation and 12-lead ECG.
