Job Overview

Dealership approx. 40 miles east of Erie, PA is seeking skilled and dedicated Automotive Technicians to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for vehicle maintenance. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. Your expertise in automotive electrical systems and diagnostics will be essential in providing top-notch service to our customers.

Note : Sign-on bonus available for the right candidate.

Duties :

• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive electrical systems to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems.
• Work on powertrain components to ensure optimal performance of vehicles.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and repair options.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies.

Required Skills :

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a mechanic.

Proficient in vehicle maintenance practices and procedures.

Expertise in automotive electrical systems and diagnostics.

Familiarity with powertrain components and their functions.

Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing vehicle issues.

Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to client.

Experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.

Preferred Skills :

Kia, Hyundai, Honda or Acura Experience

ASE certifications
