As a Client Service Associate within the Trade and Working Capital Client Service Group, you will be the primary point of contact for both onboarding new clients and servicing maintenance requests from existing clients, ensuring seamless onboarding and ongoing support for global trade transactions. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to deliver solutions and resolve complex issues. Your role is essential in maintaining high client satisfaction and supporting the firm's reputation for excellence. You will be empowered to manage your workload, contribute to team success, and build strong relationships across the organization.
You will support a diverse portfolio of clients, handling onboarding activities, trade service requests, documentation, and project initiatives. The role offers exposure to global markets and the opportunity to collaborate with teams across the US, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. You will also participate in joint client calls and provide guidance to team members, enhancing your leadership and advisory skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client onboarding, transactions, and ongoing service requests
- Act as a trade advisor for complex Letter of Credit transactions
- Manage transaction service queues and resolve client inquiries
- Provide timely follow-up and ensure client satisfaction
- Guide and train team members on trade products and services
- Liaise between Relationship, Operations, Treasury Management, Sales, and Implementations teams
- Prioritize daily workload to maximize productivity
- Create and maintain policies, procedures, and practices
- Project a confident and professional presence to clients and colleagues
- Support team roles and responsibilities during peak volume periods
- Research and resolve customer inquiries, prepare documentation, and manage internal projects
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Three years of experience in Trade Finance or Letters of CreditExperience as an advisor in Implementations, Service, or Operations supporting Trade productsCollege degree or equivalent work experienceStrong focus on client satisfaction and relationship buildingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and multi-tasking abilitiesAbility to work independently and resolve complex issuesComfortable working within tight deadlinesDemonstrated professional presence and adaptabilityAbility to manage competing prioritiesAptitude for learning new industry, company, product, or technical knowledgePreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
