ETL Developer and Support Engineer

Job description Infosys is seeking a ETL Developer and Support Engineer position with Data Engineering background. In this role, you will provide technical guidance to teams;

anchor Proof of Concept developments and support opportunity identification and pursuit processes and evangelize Infosys brand.

Required Qualifications : Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX or be willing to relocate to any of these locations.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

US citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. At least 4 years of experience in Information TechnologyAt least 4 years of ETL tools like Matillion, informatica, DBTKnowledge on AWS Services GLUE, LAMBDA, S3, SQS, SNSPreferred Qualifications : Ability to lead solution development and delivery for the design solutionsKnowledge in Service Oriented ArchitectureRelevant AWS development experience in enterprise level large scale multi-tier solutions that require complex Architectural decisionsKnowledge of architectural design patterns, performance tuning, database and functional designs Technical Skills : Integration Tools : Oracle warehouse builderProgramming Languages : Python, Javascript, JSON, XML, SQL, PL / SQL, Java, .

NETDatabases : Snowflake, PostgresSQL, MySQL, Oracle 11g, SQL ServerAPI and Frameworks : API, REST web servicesSource Code Management : GIT, BitBucket, Code Commit Good understanding of SDLC is a pre-requisiteLogical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborateKnowledge in Snowflake features like clustering , time travel, cloning, logical data warehouse, caching etc.

Design dimensional model, data lake architecture, data vault on snowflake and used snowflake logical data warehouse for compute Sound Knowledge with relational databases like mySQL, Oracle, SQL server and good knowledge of NoSQL data stores.

Very strong in English communication -written and verbalThe job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
