Dental Assistant

Join our dedicated team at a government dental facility in Danbury as a Dental Assistant . We are looking for a skilled and compassionate professional to support our dental team in delivering high-quality patient care. If you're organized, team-oriented, and passionate about oral health, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities :

Assist dentists during procedures by preparing and organizing instruments and materials

Perform chair-side duties, including taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays)

Maintain a clean, sterile environment in compliance with safety protocols

Schedule and confirm appointments; maintain accurate patient records

Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care

Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program

Certification in dental radiography

Strong organizational and communication skills

Team player with a professional and compassionate approach

Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records

Preferred Skills :

Previous experience in a dental office

CPR certification

Knowledge of dental billing and coding
