A Day in the Life

Provide operations sourcing support for the disposables and capital product lines for Billerica site. There is no relocation assistance available for this role.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

• Ensure raw material supply continuity and manage any escalations that impact raw material supply to the site.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities with suppliers and identify the site's raw material cost reduction opportunities.
• Develop and implement Operations Sourcing programs to boost supplier delivery performance.
• Conduct supplier production capacity reviews, identify potential risks, and drive mitigation strategies to ensure supply continuity.
• Drive Last Time Buy activities and Strategic Inventory Purchase activities to ensure continuity of supply.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with Suppliers, Operations Scheduling, Supply Network Planning, Supplier Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Operations Quality, Category Management, and other internal stakeholders.

Foster a continuous improvement and lean culture to drive advancements in the supply base in terms of quality, cost, and performance, as well as supporting business objectives.

Required Knowledge and Experience : Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

May have broad knowledge of project management.

Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $104,800.00 - $157,200.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification / education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
