Summary

The Financial Analyst will support the Commercial and Pricing reporting and analysis needs of a leading company in the manufacturing and supply chain industries.

This role demands a detail-oriented candidate with excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Creating external customer and supplier reporting and analytics
• Creating internal periodic reporting pricing processes and deliverables
• Preparing and presenting pricing analysis findings to operations and sales leadership
• Managing customer rebate analysis and reporting
• Providing various ad-hoc commercial and pricing reporting and analysis
• Assessing data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends
• Supporting price collection, analysis and implementation processes
• Recommending pricing strategies that align closely with market trends
• Developing and maintaining dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required. Economics, finance, accounting, or related field is preferred
• 1-3 years of finance experience with background in financial analysis and / or pricing
• Operational finance experience a plus with ability to work across multiple entities and / or functions
• CPA and / or MBA a plus
• Proficiency in software, such as Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI & CRM
• Good analytical skills; ability to understand and interpret financial results
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong understanding of both financial and operational processes
• Ability to provide meaningful and accurate financial information
• Ability to work across multiple entities and / or functional areas
• Capacity to perform at a high level in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
• Ability to convert detailed financial analysis into summaries and provide comments
• Quick learner, detail-oriented, self-motivated, team player
