What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will work on the production floor alongside the team spending at least 60% of time on productivity projects identified from Value Stream Maps, data collection, CI Committee, etc.
  • This position maintains productivity database for the assigned site and provides process or "cell" leadership and direction for Continuous Improvement initiatives by analyzing and improving manufacturing (and support) processes
  • Further, you will actively engage all employees to uncover needs and opportunities across the plant
  • In this role, you will drive metric reporting at the cell level and lead RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) analysis across the plant
  • You will initiate and conduct project reviews with project team members and others as appropriate (i.e., engineering, manufacturing, safety, quality manager, and plant management)

What makes you great

  • You must have a bachelor’s degree with four (4)+ years of experience in process or technical engineering position; equivalent education and experience will be considered
  • Further, you will need previous manufacturing experience in Quality, Safety, Systems, Lean, or Six Sigma principles / methodology
  • You must be able to successfully pass the essential job function physical requirements
  • You will be a preferred candidate with Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
