We are seeking a passionate and experienced Store Manager to lead our New York flagship location. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior retail professional who is not only a skilled leader but also an outdoor enthusiast with a strong sense of style and customer service.
You will work directly with our global headquarters in Japan to grow the Goldwin brand and community in New York and across the U.S. Through sales performance, team development, and community engagement, you will play a key role in building the brand's presence and driving long-term success in the U.S. market.

Role Overview
As Store Manager , you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the New York store, ensuring exceptional customer service, team performance, visual merchandising, and operational efficiency. You will also be a key liaison with our Japanese HQ, providing insights and contributing to global brand strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team.

Customer Experience
Deliver a consistently outstanding in-store experience that reflects the Goldwin brand.Drive customer satisfaction through staff training, coaching, and service excellence.Build and nurture a loyal customer base and community around the store.Store Operations
Oversee all daily store operations, including scheduling, cleanliness, safety, and opening / closing procedures.Monitor and manage inventory, ensure accurate stock levels, and execute merchandising plans.Maintain high standards in visual merchandising and store presentation.Reporting & Communication
Provide weekly reports to Goldwin Japan HQ on sales, customer trends, team performance, and store operations.Collaborate across time zones with Japanese HQ to align on business strategy, marketing, and merchandising.Community Engagement & Marketing
Plan and execute local events and activations in collaboration with HQ marketing teams.Support store-led digital marketing efforts (Instagram, newsletters, content creation).Build connections within the local outdoor and lifestyle communities.E-Commerce Support
Coordinate in-store support for online orders and fulfillment as needed.Requirements
Minimum of 3 years' experience in retail store managementStrong leadership and people-management skillsProven track record in driving sales and managing KPIsExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesStrong sense of personal style and alignment with Goldwin's aesthetic and valuesAbility to always represent the brand professionallyComfortable reporting to and collaborating with international teams, including accommodating time zone differencesFlexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysically able to manage store layout, restocking, and floor coveragePreferred Qualifications
