Position : Management Consultant (Consultant, Turnaround & Restructuring) in New York, NY
Duties : Serve in management consulting role at global management consulting firm. Apply industry knowledge and expertise in business strategies to improve an organization's structure, efficiency or profits by participating in organizational evaluations, gathering and analyzing data and developing solutions to business problems. Utilize strategic planning and analysis, market analysis, information technology, operations strategy and supply chain and sourcing analysis to evaluate organizational performance and design systems and procedures to improve or transform operations. Apply cutting-edge business processes and technology to build high-performance predictive models and develop insightful analytical approaches to business situations. Up to 20% of travel to undetermined domestic client locations, as needed. 100% Telecommuting permitted in the U.S. Requires a Master's degree in Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance, or related quantitative field, plus 1 year of experience in management consulting, strategy analysis, financial analysis or business analysis.
Must have any amount of experience in the following :
- Leverage Excel, Tableau, and Relativity to extract, clean, and analyze large volumes of both structured and unstructured data (e.g., financial records, spreadsheets, emails, and PDFs) for conflict-of-interest investigations and to identify key evidence supporting investigative findings;
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of corporate transactions against policies, ensuring adherence to key testing criteria such as policy compliance, receipt verification, vendor legitimacy, and identification of personal or inflated expenses. Streamline testing processes by developing standardized guides, and identify potential process inefficiencies or gaps, offering actionable recommendations for improvement;
- Efficiently navigate complex client support systems to gather critical information related to investigations. Draft clear and concise observations, summarize findings, and identify key transaction patterns. Communicate insights and findings to managers in a timely and effective manner, ensuring delivery of high-quality work within tight deadlines.
As an alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in in Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance, or related quantitative field, plus 3 years of experience in management consulting, strategy analysis, financial analysis or business analysis.
