Camp Rivendale's Mission

Camp Rivendale provides enriching experiences for campers with disabilities, focusing on their physical, mental, and social growth through various activities like music, dance, drama, visual arts, and sports. Our staff and volunteers play a vital role in providing support, structure, and recreational opportunities, empowering campers to thrive with dignity and independence.


Camp Staff Opportunities:

Responsible for planning, preparing, instructing, and/or leading activities for program participants.
Pay Rate Range: $18.22 - $19.93 hourly, depending on experience.Responsible for implementing assigned recreation programs, classes, and activities.
Pay Rate Range: $18.60 - $20.95 hourly, depending on experience.


Position Details:

• Camp Dates: July 8th to August 16th, 2024, training begins July 1st - 3rd
• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
• Location: Camp Rivendale – Beaverton, Oregon
• Responsibilities: Supervising and leading activities for patrons aged 6 to 21 experiencing disabilities
• Work Conditions: Outdoor work; adherence to safety standards required

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old on start date
• Must enjoy working with youth
• Ability to work outdoors, rain or shine
