As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Morning Shift in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting unarmed patrols and responding to security-related incidents at a prominent cultural institution. You will help to deter incidents by maintaining a visible presence and engaging with guests in a professional and courteous manner. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the interior and exterior perimeter, to help to deter inappropriate activity and identify potential issues.

Document all incidents and complete reports as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence throughout the location.

Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as necessary.

Follow all instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management, adapting to any site-specific changes or requirements.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
