The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $ 88,560.00 to $110,700.00 . The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary :

The Marketing Performance team is a core team to lead the advancement of company-wide decision making around brand growth strategies, pricing and market forecasting. The Snr. Analyst, Marketing Analytics, will support the successful delivery of key marketing analytics programs - chief among them, the Matrix marketing mix model. The role will be responsible for data validation, tabulation and report preparation. In addition, they may be responsible for running analytical analyses into defined projects (e.g. RCTs, deep dive on creative learnings, etc). To be successful in this role, this individual must have deep experience in using and applying advance advanced analytics methodologies and tools to drive a CPG business, and also have strong communications skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare biannual brand marketing mix modeling power point reports, including data visualization and insights preparation.
  • Prepare analytics brand briefs for data science team.
  • Validate results of modeling via comparison to sales and other reporting. Identify discrepancies and possible causes.
  • Validate ingoing data for modeling via preparing of data pulls, building of composite models, synching data sets, etc.
  • Support training of models.
  • Pull, tabulate and analyze media, marketing activity and sales data sets as needed.
  • Support ad hoc analytics and analytics pilots.
  • Plan, manage and report the status of all assigned work. Communicate priorities and identify risks / issues with meeting quality / timeline expectations.
  • Support in insights-to-action sessions with business to deploy analytical outputs.

Required Skills & Abilities :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Math, Statistics, or related field.
  • Expert Excel experience required.
  • Expert experience with data visualization (charting, data-based storytelling, etc.).
  • Statistical programming experience required (e.g. SPSS, R, SAS, Python programs).
  • Certificate or experience with advanced modeling techniques (e.g. Bayesian modeling, regression, clustering, etc).
  • Nielsen, NABCA or Circana experience desirable.
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics role (machine learning, choice modeling, MMM, etc.) for a CPG copmany.
  • Strong quantitative skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience with complex data environments, and working with IT to ensure correct support.
  • Beverages / Alc Bev, CPG, or Consulting experience highly preferred.
  • Education :

  • Required : BA.
  • Preferred : masters degree in statistics, market research or econometrics.
