What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shelter location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions.

Report any security-related concerns, incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols to appropriate personnel.

Assist shelter staff and visitors as needed while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least one year of security-related experience.

Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
