Lead, Communications

The communications lead will oversee the creation of content across multiple channels, including social media, email newsletters / campaigns, website, app content, and printed materials.

The communications lead plays a crucial role in shaping the public image of Sandals Church with the use of grammatical standards and brand voice and facilitating engagement and connection with its community across all campuses.

SOME KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Content Creation : Producing written content for various platforms such as websites, weekly newsletters, social media, press releases, printed content, and other promotional materials.
• Brand Messaging : Ensuring consistency and clarity in brand messaging across all communication channels, aligning with Sandals Church's values, tone, and voice.
• Editing and Proofreading : Reviewing and revising written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency with the Sandals Church voice.
• Collaboration : Working closely with multiple stakeholders to develop integrated communication strategies and campaigns for a variety of projects.
• Project Management : Managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication : Communicating with campuses and / or network stakeholders to understand their requests, provide updates on project progress, and incorporate feedback into revisions.

• Able to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems.
• Knowledge of appropriate editorial style and guidelines preferred (APA, MLA, Chicago Style.)

COMPENSATION INFORMATION :

• Pay Range : $17-$22 per hour
• We will provide a pay rate that is within our compensation structure and that fits a candidate's qualifications and experience for the job.
