Description :

The Environmental Manager is responsible for administering regular trainings on environmental, health, & safety programs and related policies / procedures affecting the company’s existing and / or proposed environmental health and safety issues.

This role acts as the liaison between the various sites and regulatory agencies by responding to NOVs, inquiries, & enforcement actions.

As the EHS Manager, you will provide interpretation & guidance on all policies and procedures, pertaining to EPA, DOT, OSHA, substance abuse, industrial hygiene, etc.

throughout the Branch / s. A strong background in regulations and compliance with experience in operational permits will ensure success in this vital role within the company.

Qualifications :

  • Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science
  • 3+ years’ experience within the waste industry
  • Must have experience with Operation permitting & regulations
  • Must have OSHA 40 HAZWOPER certification
  • Must have strong familiarity with EPA & DOT regulations and compliance
  • Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM) certificate a plus!
  • Must have ability to travel an estimated 20-30% for onsite trainings & certifications
  • Must be able to reside in / relocate to the Milwaukee area (relocation assistance provided)
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug test, & physical
