Job Details

  • Med / Tele RN position at St Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center
  • PCU experience required
  • Ability to read strips is a must
  • Common diagnoses include cardiac conditions, pneumonia, sepsis, and acute on chronic conditions
  • Nurse to patient ratios : 1 : 4-5, occasional 5-6 on nights, PCU level care overflow 1 : 3
  • Shifts : 7a-7p, 7p-7a, rotating shifts not more than weekly
  • Weekend and holiday requirements : every other
  • Floating to all areas as needed

    • Job Requirements

  • Must have PCU experience
  • Experience with tele / cardiac nursing
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Ability to titrate drips
  • RN's required to read and interpret their own strips

    • Schedule Information

  • 7a-7p, 7p-7a shifts
  • Rotating shifts not more than weekly
  • Weekend requirements : every other
  • Holiday requirements : every other

    • Unit Specific Information

  • More of a tele / cardiac unit
  • 2-12 hour shifts for unit / department specific orientation

    • Additional Details

  • ACLS and BLS required
  • Profile review and manager interview required
  • Radius rule : 50 miles
  • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract)
