Job Details

Med / Tele RN position at St Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center

PCU experience required

Ability to read strips is a must

Common diagnoses include cardiac conditions, pneumonia, sepsis, and acute on chronic conditions

Nurse to patient ratios : 1 : 4-5, occasional 5-6 on nights, PCU level care overflow 1 : 3

Shifts : 7a-7p, 7p-7a, rotating shifts not more than weekly

Weekend and holiday requirements : every other

Floating to all areas as needed

Job Requirements

Must have PCU experience

Experience with tele / cardiac nursing

Epic experience preferred

Ability to titrate drips

RN's required to read and interpret their own strips

Schedule Information

7a-7p, 7p-7a shifts

Rotating shifts not more than weekly

Weekend requirements : every other

Holiday requirements : every other

Unit Specific Information

More of a tele / cardiac unit

2-12 hour shifts for unit / department specific orientation

Additional Details

ACLS and BLS required

Profile review and manager interview required

Radius rule : 50 miles

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract)
