Senior Sales Specialist
As a Senior Sales Specialist at FactSet, you will be the subject matter expert driving growth for our Real-Time Exchange Datafeed and Tick History offerings across the Americas. You will engage with a broad spectrum of financial institutionsincluding Investment Managers, Hedge Funds, Investment Banks, and Wealth Management firmsto identify, develop, and close new opportunities. Your efforts will be integral to expanding FactSet's market presence and strengthening client partnerships.
Key responsibilities include owning the end-to-end sales process for Real-Time Exchange Datafeed and Tick History solutions, from lead generation and qualification to solution presentation and deal closure. Collaborate closely with FactSet's New Business team and established account owners to ensure a seamless client experience. Leverage deep industry and technical expertise to understand client workflows and articulate FactSet's value proposition in competitive scenarios. Drive pipeline growth through proactive outreach, industry networking, and targeted prospecting across assigned segments. Maintain a disciplined, KPI-driven approach to achieving and exceeding personal and team sales targets. Utilize technology platforms and CRM tools, such as Salesforce, for pipeline management and reporting. Deliver an exceptional client experience by proactively addressing needs and positioning FactSet as a trusted partner.
What we're looking for includes a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, account management, or business development within the financial services technology sector, in-depth knowledge of Order Management Systems, trading workflows, and real-time data environments, proven track record of lead generation and consultative selling, strong motivation to achieve results and exceed client expectations, advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, and high level of discipline, organizational excellence, and self-motivation.
Preferred experience includes prior use of FactSet products or similar market data platforms, and experience managing opportunities and pipeline within Salesforce or comparable CRM system.

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. The budgeted amount range for this position in the States of Connecticut and New York City is $140,000 - $175,000.
