Gourmet Dining Restaurant And Pub Manager

Salary : $60,000-$62,000

Pay Grade : 11

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant and Pub Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive profitability. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management

Supervise daily restaurant and pub operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to standards.

  • Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Team Leadership
  • Recruit, train, and manage staff including servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and hosts.

  • Schedule shifts and manage payroll in coordination with HR.
  • Foster a positive work environment and resolve staff conflicts.
  • Customer Experience
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through attentive service and prompt issue resolution.

  • Handle complaints and feedback professionally and proactively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experience.
  • Financial Oversight
  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue.

  • Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Manage cash flow, POS systems, and financial reporting.
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the establishment.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections.
  • Marketing & Events
  • Collaborate on promotional campaigns and seasonal menus.

  • Organize events, live entertainment, and special offers to attract patrons.
  • Engage with local community and social media to boost visibility.
  • Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant / pub management or hospitality leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial reporting.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Certification in hospitality management or related field.
  • Familiarity with local health and safety regulations.
  • Experience in event planning and marketing.
