Occupational Therapist, PRN (Mercer County)

Brightstar Care of Hunterdon County is looking for an Occupational Therapist to work in the Clinton, NJ area.

OT Day-to-Day Duties...

• Conduct physical & psychological assessments of clients
• Work cooperatively w / physicians to develop care & appropriate treatment plans
• Assess home environments of clients & explore adjustments which may be beneficial
• Assess for benefits of adaptive equipment to assist client w / ADL's
• Advise client through the process of obtaining devices, as well as proper use of devices by client, family & caregivers
• Report client's response to treatment or changes in condition to the Director of Nursing & physician
• Initiate occupational therapy program & instruct other personnel, including family members & caregivers, in specific phases of occupational therapy w / which they may assist with the client
• Prepare clinical & progress summaries, as well as participate in discharge planning
• Treat clients, families & staff w / courtesy & respect.
