Senior RF / Electronics Design Engineer

Location : Austin, TX In Office

Responsibilities

• Designing low phase noise oscillators, frequency sources, synthesizers, RF / microwave building blocks (amplifiers, detectors, mixers, couplers, filters, up / down conversion), integrated microwave assemblies, and subsystems.
• Developing next generation RF / microwave and electronic solutions for aerospace, space, defense, test & measurement, scientific, and quantum computing applications.
• Working with customers to understand requirements and translating them into product design and performance specifications.
• Collaborating with program managers, electrical, RF / microwave, mechanical, software / firmware, test, manufacturing engineers, suppliers, production and quality teams to meet requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Testing, debugging, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
• Developing and documenting procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
• Staying current with RF / microwave and electronics industry trends and breakthroughs.
• Managing projects to schedule and cost.
